Friends, Romans, Deke Brethren - lend me your ears.

After this past weekend of college football, what do we know? That the polls are a complete crock of sh*t:

Hello my name is Oklahoma, I got beaten by an unranked and poorly coached Colorado team. Don't worry though, I'll only drop a couple of spots in the polls because the other "good" team in my conference got the crap beat out of them.

Hello my name is Texas, I got the crap beat out of me this last weekend by an unranked opponent. Even though we played like crap against our first real competition of the year, we only dropped a couple of spots in the polls because: we're Texas of course and we have quarterback with a cool name.

Hello my name is Florida. I got beaten at home by an unranked team in my conference that I also lost to last year. Don't worry though, I'm still in the top ten because otherwise who would represent my conference? Besides that, we have the great white hope, Tim Tebow.

Not that we deserve to be ranked at all - but these teams lost to unranked opponents, they deserve to be dropped from the rankings altogether - especially Texas - that loss was not the result of an unlucky play.

The pre-season polls are a complete joke (they only for the top 2 correct) and the current rankings suck ass as well. Hopefully this weekend Eastern doesn't bust out a spread offense and beat us.

Let's not joke about Eastern Michigan... I hear they are hardcore this year!

I bet Henne will blow this one - throw 3+ interceptions and the game will come down to the wire with Michigan attempting to block a last second fieldgoal unsuccessfully - thus, we become the laughing stock of Michigan.

I think we already are the laughingstock of Michigan. If we keep playing the way we have been, there is now way we could beat Wisconsin or Ohio state, or maybe even Purdue for that matter. It will be intereseting to see how OSU handles Purdue tomorrow.

yes, laughing stock already. We're just risking becoming the laughing stock of the Big Ten... and beyond! Thankfully USC shit the bed against Stanford, thus trumping our shitty loss to a shitty team.
